Day one, Bedankt dat je er bent. Door regelmatig mijn problemen van mij af te schrijven (en ik heb toch redelijk wat grote problemen al gehad) kan ik voor mijzelf alles een beetje plaatsen, zodat ik niet blijf hangen in mijn problemen. Zodat ik telkens opnieuw de courage vind om te blijven vechten. Ben blijven vechten toen mijn pa stierf, ben blijven vechten voor mijn dochter te kunnen blijven zien, (die is jullie trouwens ook heel dankbaar daarvoor dit ben ik zeker) en nu moet blijven vechten voor mijn zaak te kunnen behouden, want de gerechtelijke kosten lopen enorm op. Bedankt dat one dat je er bent.

Forcing existing paying users into subscription model

As a paying Day One user, I’m being forced to move to a subscription model. It’s unacceptable. Besides iCloud and Dropbox sync are not supported anymore because “we had thousands of cases of data loss”. Sure your locked cloud platform is certainly more reliable than those two. #scam

Thank you for your feedback. Day One Classic has not been updated since March 2016 and now that Day One 2.0 is a free app with similar features we will not be updating Classic again. Since launching in 2011, we gave away five years of free updates in version 1. The new Day One is a major upgrade and a separate app. It is the result of over four years of design and development. It is now completely free with many great upgrades but does require a subscription for syncing between devices and other Premium features. Paying for Day One means that we’ll be able to continue to maintain and develop the Day One apps. We don't have ads and we don't sell your data. Let us know if you have any other questions. iCloud is still functional as a sync method in Classic, but we recommend upgrading and importing your data.
