Description
BenefitPay is an app that allows users to pay and transfer funds only by using their smart devices in Bahrain in a fast, secure, and convenient manner. BenefitPay features include:
· Enrolling your payment instruments (Cards & Accounts).
· Transfer funds instantly from one bank account to another using Fawri+ service by either entering IBAN, or a registered mobile number, as well as by scanning QR Code.
· Paying using your mobile in Bahrain through scanning QR code generated by merchants within the app’s merchant network.
· Bill Payment through Fawateer service to hundreds of biller.
· Split Payment and request payment options that allows you to request payment from multiple payer, so it shall allow to split the dinner bill among friends and family.
· Review and track your transactions history.
· Manage your cards and Bank Accounts in the Application
· To pay for fuel at petrol stations using geo-location via Sadeem feature
. Transfer Internationally via Remittence feature through our partners
. Electronic Cheque (e-Cheque) issuance, deposit, and management
To register, download the application and enter a valid mobile number. Upon entry of the verification code that will be sent by SMS you will be enrolled and you can start adding your payment instruments.

Ratings and Reviews
The History section is simply useless
The history section of the application is simply useless. If I only use it to share a payment I made or received, then it’s not doing what it is supposed to do. You need to add a function to send money again to the same number or IBAN.
You also need to cancel the default account for payment, because sometimes I would like to use a different account or card to pay. Every time a user does a payment, he should be able to choose the account to pay from.
Finally, you also need to allow users to transfer funds between debit cards or accounts added within the benefit application directly.
Useless, unhelpful and unreliable
Edit: This App also condone criminals.
Myself and many other people have been the victims of fraud by one gentleman and despite having a police crime number the staff at BenefitPay will not close down his account. I also know several people who have had their accounts hacked via this app (something the staff on the phone are aware of).
So we can add unsafe to the list of issues with this site.
This is the first time I have left a review on the App Store. I was reluctant to use this app as people I know were the victims of fraudulent transactions, even our local petrol station stopped using it. However a situation occurred where it became a necessity and after downloading the app it has proved my expectations were correct. It took multiple attempts to add an account despite ALL of the details being correct and verified by another person. (something I know other people struggled with) There is no user guide for first time users. So there is no “if you use this function this will be the outcome” for first time users. I tried calling customer services to be told that my complaints are not the first of that nature. I was transferred to the manager and redirected to their answer phone. If possible I would rather give this app a negative score as it has made my life harder. I hope someone comes up with a competitive product that actually works.
The new update is bad
The new update is slower than the older version, before we used to click less time to reach what we want now it’s extra steps . But the most thing I hate is that when I want to transfer money from my own account while I have multiple accounts, It should transfer the money from the account or card on the page that I currently opened there’s no need to again choose the account that I want to transfer from as if I’m in a hurry I won’t notice that it’s transferring from the default account, which make the payment get rejected without any notifying or it transfer from the account im not intended to transfer from.
