For my surprise, they put promotion saying 6% cash back offer.
Under this impression I processed to create my account.
But while trying to add money I found this app asking for 11% to add money.
I took screenshot but I do not find any options to upload here.

If your payment has not gone through and your account got deducted, you are in a big trouble. And if you are a non Bahrainy customer they wouldn’t even take your complaints seriously. I have called the STC customer care more than 14 times and every time they have told me that they will rectify the issue within few 24 or 48 or so or if not they will give me an update, but the thing is they won’t call you or they won’t resolve the issue, then you will have to call them back, and the new customer care executive will say the exact same thing the previous one has said. You won’t get the refund for a few months. One of my payment from 14th August 2022 which they deducted from my account is yet to be refunded as of today(29 September 2022). Today I received a call from the STC and told me that I’ll have to wait another 45 to 60 day more in order to get my money back.

I don’t understand why the app has been changed. It doesn’t have details for your transactions. The app is not user-friendly. There is a lot of problems when it comes to cash back when we pay in any other currency, it charges ridiculous amount of money and then gives us cash back. How is that beneficial to the user literally I booked my tickets which costed $280 I converted it to Bahraini dinars and it was decent amount when I paid using my stc pay card. It charged me ridiculously too much, and then they gave me cashback to compensate it, and I still end up paying higher rate so it was not beneficial for me
