AroundMe quickly identifies your position and allows you to choose the nearest Bank, Bar, Petrol Station, Hospital, Hotel, Movie Theatre, Restaurant, Supermarket, Theatre and Taxi.
AroundMe shows you a complete list of all the businesses in the category you have tapped on along with the distance from where you are.
For every listing you can choose to see its location on a Map, view the route from where you are, add the information to your contact list or even email the information to a friend.
The Nearby listing allows you to find information using Wikipedia about what is around you.

NB: When AroundMe Weather push feature is active the app make a continue use of GPS running in the background that can dramatically decrease battery life.
Upon opening the app after this latest update, I’m presented with a screen boasting about “AroundMe Weather” that will present weather alerts every morning. In order to do so, your Daily Location needs to be granted Always Allow Permission. The only option to touch is “Grant”. There’s no way to decline. (Yes I know I can go back in and revoke the permissions or set it to only while using the app, however not having additional options is scummy and skeezy!)Thankfully I found a way around this, a wiggly little grey circle with a black X in it.

Tested by looking for cafes nearby only found a Macondalds 6 blocks away, there are at least 6 cafes closer. Google found 15 Cafes within 4 blocks. Pointless and Useless App. 0 stars
Not satisfied

This app just shows specific banks, gas stations and restaurants. Don’t find this ideal. if you are travelling or exploring new locaion, you could easily end up not seeing some best amenities around.. 1 star..
Cancel automatic renew not possible

A purchase was triggered for annual subscription and I don’t agree to have tagged the automatic renew . I was’t able to change this tag. I want my refund and it’s mis possible 😚😚
