Amazing App must have

This app is fantastic for a plethora of reasons but the biggest is the fact that it allows you to stay in contact with your friends whilst avoiding all the addictive aspects of social media I currently only use it for instagram since it is my primary social media app and also the main social media most of my friends use ,and i am so grateful i came across this appBefore beeper i would waste so much time watching reels, while not being able to get rid of the app because all my friends were on there, thus, being stuck in a conflicting situation Now i only visit instagram for three things : 1 accepting follows, 2 watching my friend’s stories and 3 Starting conversation with “new”people (whose conversations i don’t have on beeper) Needless to say it greatly reduced my occurrences of typing instagram.com on my search bar; as a matter of fact i only do it Once a day to do those three things for three minutes and that’s it This app really allowed me to recover my power over IG and “reduce it” to it’s original purpose : a tool to stay in contact with peopleI sincerely hope this app never leaves the store and that the devs/ company makes millions from it.What i see happening in the future is more people, in an effort to escape the social media doom of shorts/reels, (unsolicited)porn , and any of the other negative aspects of social media, result to apps like this, and hopefully we see more apps like beeper emerge. If the devs actually manage this thing well they could, alone “reinvent” our ways of communicating with people and effectively bring us back to the good old days where we actually only used our phones as tools. The app is already great, even though it has some minor inconveniences like the delays or the fact that you can’t send new messages to people, but honestly speaking they’re VERY minor and i don’t even want the devs adding a plethora of options either since i want it to remain as simple/basic as possible. My only two recommendations points are1 Improve the messaging system ( delays, sending videos) 2 Keep it simple and don’t borrow functionalities from the original appsThat’s it, Thank you Beeper App

This app is great and helped me get over my phone addiction! However, it has happened multiple times that I wanted to send a picture or a video and the app said it was delivered, but the other person never received it. And this was further confirmed when going on Instagram and that the picture/video was nowhere to be found in the chat.. 🫤

Amazing experience with the app so far but my main gripe with the UX is that it automatically scrolls down whenever you reply to a message - this can make it frustrating when trying to catch up while also giving input especially in a group text setting, it also makes the jump down button a little less functional - love to see where the app goes though!
