With the BMO Invest app:
Access your BMO InvestorLine Self-Directed and adviceDirect accounts using your existing Client ID or your BMO Nesbitt Burns portfolio using your online Gateway ID.

Get an aggregated view of your InvestorLine or Nesbitt Burns holdings and account details with Portfolio View and set up custom watchlists to monitor stocks and market trends you want to follow.

Use Face ID secure authentication or Touch ID fingerprint identity sensor to access your accounts with ease and improved security.

For InvestorLine Self-Directed and adviceDirect clients:
Place trades, move money and get a snapshot of your holdings and investments. Quickly trade your stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds. adviceDirect clients can access personalized buy and sell recommendations with 24/7 account monitoring.

For Nesbitt Burns clients:
Sign up to view statements, tax documents and trade confirmations online. Choose to be alerted by email when a new document is available.

You must be registered with BMO InvestorLine to use the BMO Invest app to access your InvestorLine Self-Directed or adviceDirect accounts. Simply sign on to BMO InvestorLine with your Client ID to get started. If you are not registered with BMO InvestorLine, visit www.bmo.com/investorline .

You must register for and access Gateway online via www.bmo.com to use the BMO Invest app to access your Nesbitt Burns portfolio. Your Nesbitt Burns Investment Advisor can help you get set up or contact the Gateway Helpdesk gateway.helpdesk@bmonb.com.

Miss the old app

This new app is missing a lot of the features that I looked forward to on the old one …. Very disappointing.

Tough upgrade

Have used bmo InvestorLine for a while and compared to any other investing app, it’s about 10 years behind in UI and functionality. It honestly reminds me of the early 2000 early internet compared to some of these new apps such as TDs and Weapthsimples. This app was a chance for bmo to at the very least move up to par with these competitors just by copying their models. However bmo couldn’t even do that. I strongly believe that the first company to really push the boundaries with simple
UI and ease of use in Canada could have a complete monopoly in the market because right now no company stands out with great trading/investing support. Bmo either is too lazy or too cheap to put effort into a platform with solid charts/ research tools, clean or simple UI, and proper functionality. Do better bmo.

You can do much better

The old investorline app provided more technical indication tools and some profoundly analysis report. Thought you would update a new but better mobile one. However, it’s very disappointing and shocking that this dumb new app is now you only are able to serve for customers in a such big investment bank like you.
Hope you can do much better and give your investors a really functional “invest app” ASAP.
