Description
"BPM" is an application that measures tempo (BPM) by tapping a button.
- Tempo Measurement
By tapping the "TAP!" button in time with the tempo of the music (once per beat), it measures the tempo (BPM).
Turning on the "Average mode" displays the average tempo of the taps, while turning it off shows the tempo for each individual tap.
If you don't tap for more than 3 seconds, the tempo will be reset.
Tapping the text "BPM" will lock the tempo, preventing automatic updates to the tempo and song information. Tapping it again will unlock it. Additionally, tapping the numerical value of BPM will reset the tempo.
- Song Information Retrieval
It displays song information for music playing in the iPhone/iPad Music app (this feature is not available in third-party apps like Spotify or AWA).
Turning on "Shazam mode" retrieves and displays information about the currently playing music, which may take a few seconds to obtain.
- Sharing Tempo Information
Pressing the "Action" button allows you to copy the song information and BPM as text or share them with other apps.
- Advertising
Advertisements are displayed, but you can remove them by tapping the "Remove Ad" button to purchase the "Ad Removal Feature".
Ads are automatically hidden while measuring the tempo.

Ratings and Reviews
This is rather silly
The app description is unclear. All this app does is present a button that you can tap on to the beat of the music. It purports to then tell you the songs BPM. I was 'hoping' I could play a song and it would tell me. I make playlists based on BPM's for workouts. I typically do this manually. On my limited testing the app was off by a few beats when compared with my manual method (play song, tap my finger to the beat for 30 seconds while watching a clock, then double the count. From years of experience I know my method is accurate. This app is not. However it is close and lot easier. If close is enough for you this app should be fine. It's not enough for me.
Interrupts music when app opens
When the Apple Music app is playing music, and I’m wondering what the bpm is, I’d rather seamlessly open the app and check rather than open the app then return to press play again on the music. Maybe the app only needs an update. Until then I’ll look elsewhere.
literally nothing wrong with it
pretty cool
