WHY BRILLIANT WORKS
- One-on-one learning for all
Private tutoring is the most effective way to learn, but it’s expensive, hard to schedule, and out of reach for most families. Brilliant’s tutor works with you one-on-one, every single day, for a fraction of the cost. No scheduling. No waiting. Just learning.
- Like someone sitting next to you
Brilliant’s tutor can see what’s on your screen and react in real time, from highlighting parts of a problem to creating visualizations that bring hard concepts to life.
- Expert-crafted curriculum
Every course is crafted by our team of human experts from top institutions around the world. And with new and updated courses added every month, there’s always something new to explore.
- Learning that adapts to you
Brilliant’s tutor personalizes your experience in real time, adjusting to your skill level, filling gaps before they become problems, and helping you build confidence as you go.
- Build true problem-solving skills
Brilliant doesn’t give you answers. It guides you through problems and to your own a-ha moments. So while you’re learning, you’re also building critical thinking and analytical skills – and having fun.

Really fun, puts you in a flow state

I noticed recently that my daily life never involved anything harder than arithmetic problems and that I was forgetting common mathematical rules. I figured that in tandem with all the googling we do (I.e never memorizing things anymore), not having to work through mathematical and scientific problems would atrophy my potential for quality thinking. So I was looking for something I can do anywhere a few times a week to keep my analytical thinking sharp and Brilliant is actually really really fun because it’s just the right amount of challenging and that keeps you engaged and puts you in a very satisfying flow state.

Developer Response
Hi there Pc wizkid –I was wondering if you were able to find the *huge* amount of completely free content on Brilliant? All of the Problems of the Week are free (https://brilliant.org/weekly-problems/), all of the Community problems (tens of thousands of them!) are free (https://brilliant.org/community/problems/popular/easy/), the 100-Day Summer Challenge problems are all free ( https://brilliant.org/100day/ though these are only available on the website), and our entire collection of wikis on various STEM subjects is also free ( https://brilliant.org/community/wikis/featured/).The only content for which we require a subscription are the quizzes and problems that the Brilliant team wrote themselves, since for many of us, creating the content, the website, and the apps is our full-time job. I hope that you give Brilliant another chance, I'm sure there's something we have that would interest you and requires no subscription =)
BRILLIANT!

I love this app! It’s honestly been somewhat life changing for me. However, I don’t appreciate how expensive it is, but I can honestly say that it’s worth the price. I understand what makes it so expensive. If you aren’t willing to pay the price, I’d suggest just using the free courses. There’s lots of them, and they’re still super good. The people going on and on about how this app is too expensive don’t know what they’re talking about.
