Something that truly helps

This App has helped me get a handle on my long term chronic pain. It hasn’t taken it all the way by any means, but it has given me the tools to help deal with it and control it better. As a spine fusion patient, I know how disabling chronic pain can be. I’ve tried everything, and nothing seems to help. Until this. I’m still at the beginning, and learning a lot as I go along, but I love everything I see so far and it does seem to be helping me. Thank you

Seriously! This is a scam! They offer very little that can not be found with a bit of research (legitimately). They are essentially curating free information and podcasts into one place and charging $20/mo for user access. Further more, it has been impossible to cancel the subscription and the organization does no respond to emails about these concerns. Every month they bill me $20 for a service I find entirely useless and there is no way of me stopping those payments. DO NOT USE THIS APP! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND THERE’S NO WAY TO CANCEL THE MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE!!!

Developer Response ,

Hello acerbius, sorry for your experience. It is very easy to cancel your subscription. Go to Settings > My Subscription and tap Cancel Subscription at the bottom. Please tap Tech Support in the app to reach out if you have problems, they will gladly refund you for the months you didn't use it. I see you are in Canada, at first I was confused by the price you mention, currently the only option is the yearly at $4.99/m USD

We employ doctors and scientists to help us create new content each month. Yes, research is public and we encourage everyone to explore it. Also many people who have recovered using Curable have gone on to share a lot of the information they learned and share their own take on what worked for them in blogs. Though the Curable Classic recovery program and Breakthrough Bootcamps are completely unique and have been in development since 2016.

If you can take what you've learned and apply it on your own, that's great! This is the ultimiate goal of Curable, to introduce people to this method and help them find breakthroughs in challenging areas so that they can eventually make use of it on their own, without a guide. Tens of thousands have found recovery this way. Best wishes on your own recovery.

No option to decline providing email address

I didn’t get past the first bit because I didn’t want to share my email address and there is no option to decline.

Developer Response ,

Hello abcrodeo,

The app needs to have a unique identifier so that your progress can be saved, otherwise it would conitnually restart and would not be able to customize itself for your needs. We do send videos of live doctor and scientist interviews as well as other helpful newsletters customized to your settings via email from time to time. Though you can easily turn off any email notification within the app by going to Settings > Email Settings and flipping the switch to off. Best wishes.
