Ratings and Reviews
Great Hardware, Frustrating Application.
I experience occasional dropouts when using the app, but the most frustrating aspect to me is that i essentially need to use the app all the time to stream to my uniti atom he. When I search for qobuz albums in the app by artist, I get a whole bunch of junk that I wouldn’t get if I were using the native qobuz app. My main streaming service is Apple Music and while I know it’s not naim’s fault they don’t allow for lossless music streaming direct to the device, I wish it would at least be easier to search the qobuz catalogue within the app. As it stands, using the app feels clunky and I did not spend $11000 CAD + for this level of experience. When I can, I always buy and download my music to my Plex server and that works great with the naim app. But with no USB in (this would have solved EVERYTHING), I’m tied to the naim app, which has really detracted from the idea of forgetting about everything else and being in touch with the music. Useless App
This app is mediocre at best.
Mu-so2 when new October 2021, was originally setup using wifi and was working fine until I tried to update the latest version firmware, it persistently searches and unable locate mu-so2.
Subsequently, the app freezes at room search and disconnects with Mu-so2. Have to unplug / reconnect Mu-so power for the Naim App to work again.
After trying all the steps suggested by support, including Ethernet wired, still did not work even after few resets. Mu-so2 is now back to wifi connection and can only play via AirPlay 2 or directly from the top control display. Each time the App is opened, it automatically cycles to the update page without option to override and if continue with update is tapped, it goes back to square one problem as per above paragraph. Now the Naim App is as good as useless. A very frustrating app to work with. Hopefully Naim will look into the problems and resolve it once and for all … they owe it to their customers.

Worst app I never used for a 1400$ Bluetooth speaker, how is it possible to made a such good speaker with an app like that, every time I’m using it, it crashes or can’t find the speaker…this app is just useless
