Edit: Just found it - it’s buried in the settings, for anyone who’s also been looking.

I love having access to all the content this way and the interface itself is mostly fine, but the app’s functionality isn’t amazing, and this goes for desktop and mobile. The desktop version doesn’t sync with system commands to pause using spacebar/other controls, tapping the side of a bluetooth earbud, etc. If you have a Mac it doesn’t show up in the “what’s playing” section of the status bar so you can’t even play or pause this way. You can only control from within the app itself by literally clicking play or pause. Also if you close the window without meaning to quit, it will still quit the app. On desktop and mobile, you can’t reliably scrub through to go back or forward, it will often stop playing and need to be restarted. Lately on desktop sometimes the music will just stop without me having done anything, and needs to be restarted. Sometimes using the 15 second back/forward buttons on mobile will just not work. I hope there’s an update for all of the platforms that will fix these issues soon.

I think this the coolest app I’ve downloaded in a minute. Everything that I spend hours on YouTube or streaming looking for is not only here but it makes it easier to find. If you love music, this definitely the app. Long time ago, I used pandora to discover music until it was discontinued in Canada. This filled that hole it left behind in a way. An issue that I don’t think it’s worth giving 4 stars for and could be fixed is the casting (Seriously, y’all need to fix the casting for TV and it’s perfect). When I airplay, the music sometimes does not play. I have a Sony BRAVIA but the point is, for music apps it’s better when I don’t airplay because of glitches. I suggest a direct casting feature rather than airplay alone. Or even better, make this available to download on TV!! Apple and google, trust me.

Great app overall, discovery is excellent. Really wish it had the ability to save a few listens offline. NTS has always done a great job of introducing people to new things they wouldn’t otherwise hear, having offline playback would expand that further to places without cell reception. My Canadian road trips need this!
