I have learned so much more than I did in Duolingo. I have been using this app for about a week and I have learned more than Duolingo and I have been using Duolingo for over a year. This app is easy to use and fun. The games are fun and exciting.

i downloaded this app because similar language learning apps gave me serious burnout and fatigue but renshuu is super chill. It’s not as clinical as other apps and has really fun minigames. plus it’s cute. I really like it.
Other apps are for learning language this is for learning Japanese, and it works.

You can tell that this app was made with a whole lot of soul. It’s cute. There are community events to help you learn. There are many games to help you figure out how to draw the characters better. They don’t rush you at all and give you new information at exactly when you’re ready to learn the new information. I’m still early on and I already feel like there’s a solid chance of me going all the way which I’ve never felt with any other language learning app. This is a great app.

Fixes the page going to the previous page when opening the menu.
Unfortunately, the tap-through issue (when tapping an item in the menu) is still present, and I am waiting for a fix from a library that renshuu uses. This only affects iOS 26.x users.
