What's New in Dollarwise 7.1.0 October 1, 2026 Split one purchase into as many pieces as you need, each with its own category and purpose. Add notes and tags to any transaction. Four tags come built in (Taxable, Business, Reimburse, Recurring), or make your own. Then search your notes and filter Activity by tag. New account settings keep a balance-only account out of Activity and stop an account's deposits from counting as income. Plus a Help center in Profile and fixes throughout.

Your Needs, Wants, and Savings plan now saves to your account, so you can personalize your percentage targets month to month. Spending totals now respect hidden transactions, you can create custom categories while assigning a transaction, and manual balances support positive or negative amounts. The biggest work in 6.4 happened behind the scenes to support our upcoming Web release.

We made it simple with 12 core categories to minimize confusion and overwhelm. 50/30/20 Display - Dollarwise is based around the 50/30/20 budgeting system, and automatically builds your budget around Needs, Wants, and Debt/Saving. So even if you’ve never budgeted, you can take control. AI-Enhanced Insights - Our new insights engine analyzes transaction patterns and generates personalized financial observations, without guilt. No loud alerts or flashing red stop signs. Just actionable insights you can use to improve your life. Dollarwise can let you know where you’ve been double-charged, where you’re spending a lot, and even gives you encouragement when you hit savings streaks and other wins.
