ShalloWeDive

Depth, Rest & Breath Training

$4.99 · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.

New: the dive timer deck on your watch — static, dynamic, tables, interval and stopwatch, timed by the water itself. Still no subscription, no account. Track your depth at a glance — right on your wrist, right underwater. ShalloWeDive is a real-time depth tracker built for shallow water — down to about 6 meters — using the Apple Watch depth sensor, with an iPhone companion for your dive logbook and dry-land breath-hold training. Snorkeling, freediving, spearfishing, or a mermaid set: see your depth, water temperature, heart rate, and dive time the moment you go under. No phone signal, no internet, no subscription — just your wrist and the water. Color-coded safety zones change as you descend — safe (teal), caution (yellow), danger (orange) — so you always know where you are without looking away from the water. New: The Clocks a Dive Computer Has — On Your Wrist, and Your Buddy's Static, dynamic, tables, interval, stopwatch and surface interval, all on the watch, all staying lit through Water Lock and wrist-down: - Static: set your target; feel a tap before it, at it, and every fifteen seconds after — the hold starts when your wrist goes under and ends on the Action button, or, if you choose it, when your wrist comes out - Dynamic: swims that end when you surface, with the rest counted from that instant — the classic shrinking-rest CO₂ set, or departing on a fixed interval - Your phone's tables, run in the water: each hold a target, each rest from the moment you actually came up - As the breath-holder or as the buddy — one program, timed by the water on one wrist and by a tap on the other; the phone shows both records side by side Breath-hold in water is done only with a trained buddy watching, never alone. Train Your Breath-Hold — On Dry Land The iPhone companion also coaches classic apnea tables, no watch required: - CO₂ table, O₂ table, or a single static hold — or build a table of your own - Every round runs a recovery first, then the hold, so you always start rested - Voice announcements pace each phase — add your own announcement points, and keep listening with the phone locked - Every session — on the phone or on the wrist — is recorded, round by round Never practice breath-holds in water alone. Dive Under Your Own Discipline Choose your discipline before the session, and the watch applies the timing that belongs to it: - Freedive — one deliberate descent per surfacing, with a surface rest timer between dives - Mermaid — a rehearsal set of many short, shallow immersions inside a fixed window, with targets for depth, bottom time, and dive count On Your Watch - Real-time depth and water temperature from the built-in depth sensor - Heart rate monitoring during every dive - Your choice of alert style — Rapid or Deep haptics - Freediving-standard surface rest timer between dives - Multi-dive session tracking with automatic dive counting - Descent and ascent time analysis for each dive - A dive logbook on your watch, saved between sessions - Look back at earlier dives during a session, without ending it The iPhone Companion Review your whole logbook on a bigger screen: - Dives group into outings, with search by site, buddy, tag, or note - Add the dive site, buddy, gear, notes, and a personal rating - Browse years of dives with smooth paging - Dives sync from your watch automatically — or all at once, on demand Your watch and iPhone connect directly, on-device — no account, no server, and your logbook never leaves your devices. Beyond the Measurement Range The depth sensor is built for about 6 meters. Past that, "No Limit" mode silences the depth alerts and shows a calm "beyond range" readout instead of a false alarm. Private by Design All data stays on your devices. No account. No server. No tracking. No ads. Diving requires an Apple Watch with a depth sensor (Ultra, Ultra 2, Series 10, or later); breath-hold training runs on any iPhone. The two sync directly, no internet needed. ShalloWeDive is a reference tool. It does not replace certified equipment, proper training, or safe diving practices. Always dive within your personal limits.

- The clocks a dive computer has, on your wrist: static holds with taps before, at and after the target; dynamic sets whose rest counts from the moment you surface; your phone's tables run in the water; an interval clock, a one-press stopwatch and a surface interval — all staying lit through Water Lock. - The water itself keeps the time: your hold starts when your wrist goes under, your swim ends when you surface — and each program's WATER switches choose what the water starts and ends. The moment your wrist left the water is recorded, round by round. - Wear it as the breath-holder or as the buddy — the same program, timed by the water on one wrist and by the Action button on the other. The phone shows both records side by side.
