Husky Patrol
SMU Safe Ride Tracker
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Husky Patrol is the official safe ride tracking app for Saint Mary's University students in Halifax, Nova Scotia, operated by the Saint Mary's University Students' Association (SMUSA).
TRACK THE VAN IN REAL TIME
Watch the Husky Patrol van move live on an interactive map. Know exactly where it is and when it's heading back to campus so you're never left waiting in the cold.
KNOW YOUR STATUS
A live badge tells you how many students are currently on the waitlist, so you can plan ahead before even walking to the Info Desk.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Head to the SMU Info Desk during operating hours to add your name to the waitlist
2. Open Husky Patrol and watch the van on the map
3. When the van is heading back, you'll see the estimated arrival time
4. Wait inside - the Info Desk will call your name when it's your turn
HOURS OF OPERATION
Sunday – Friday: 6:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Saturday: Closed
Last call: 11:45 PM
Remember to bring your valid SMU Student ID. The patrol zone covers the SMU campus and surrounding Halifax neighbourhoods.
Husky Patrol is a free service provided by SMUSA to help students get home safely.
