This app is a one-stop-shop for Surrey residents that will include existing mobile apps from the City like Rethink Waste and Surrey Request, as well as introduce new services. This app is the first of its kind for municipalities in BC. Features include: •Job, Event and News listings •Youth-friendly listings of the closest skate parks, youth centres, pools and arenas •Location of the closest libraries, off-lease dog parks, tennis courts, water parks, arenas with information including hours of operation and features available at that location •Ability to easily add city events to their smartphone calendar and share city events and news stories over email or social media.

Large item pickup

Signing In was a bit painful. Hopefully you don’t have to do this everytime. That’s be annoying. Then when trying to orchestrate a large item pickup, kept saying my area unavailable. I know they’ve added some things to this new “app” but honest found the old one useful plus can see issues around the area etc. sometimes creating something new is not necessarily for the better.

Dissatisfied with purchase
Sign up process jumps to ‘sign in’ before being able to create a password. (Which is needed to sign in!) Email links sent to user to verify email (then to create a password) take much too long. I waited over 15 minutes for one verification link.
