Description
Naxos Music Library (NML) offers over 2.73 million tracks of fine classical music recordings from more than a thousand labels with their latest releases. What sets NML apart from other streaming platforms comes down to metadata. Each piece of music comes with a rich set of information, from composers’ biographies to programme notes, instrumentation to publisher’s details, all authored by qualified musicologists. Individual subscribers and authorised users of institution subscribers can create their own playlists on top of having access to playlists created by their teachers and professors for their assignments.
NML is more than just a huge classical music audio library available for streaming. The Resources section inside the library offers many valuable add-ons and study tools available through accessing the web version.

• Supports metadata display and search in other languages with selected recordings.
• A record label list showing all labels on NML, allowing users to browse the catalogue of each label.
• Booklets and Backcovers can be viewed in portrait and landscape modes.

Please, give us an iPad compatible version. At least, I wish to use it when my screen is horizontal. Many thanks!!!!
Naxos Leaves Much to be Desired
Though the library itself is comprehensive and amazing the app itself is lacking. No horizontal rotation, a colour scheme that hides the cursor in the search dialog, and a flakey saved playlists function are a few of its issues.
Additionally not enough information is stored in the system regarding the different recordings. Screen captures of the album covers are not as useful as the flipside of the cover could possibly be. Ideally the system would also capture and enclosure text of the recording but I can imagine would a huge task this could be.
Bottom line: Great service. Poor app.
Works well when it works.. Not cleaner how to signup with library
The signup thought library for the app is not clear, library doesn't tell you, Naxos doesn't tell you. The key is to press the icon on the left "mobile access" and follow the instructions, either sign in through library first and then create account or vice versa, don't know.
