Track climbs, rests, heart rate, grades, projects, gym sessions, rest alerts, and Auto Belay checks from iPhone and Apple Watch.
Sendward is a climbing session tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch.
It is built for climbers who want to track attempts, rests, grades, heart rate, projects, and session history without turning every gym session into paperwork.
Start a session on iPhone, choose the climbing facility, then use iPhone or Apple Watch through the live climbing loop: ready, climbing, logging, resting, and back to ready.
Track: • Boulder, Auto Belay, Top Rope, and Lead sessions • Climb results and effort • Optional grades • Rest timing • Heart rate during climbs and recovery • Active Projects • Project attempts • Project progress • Project notes • Gym or facility history • Calendar Archive days • PDF session and day exports
Active Projects let you track climbs you are working on over time. A project keeps its own grade, discipline, attempts, progress stats, and notes. Use project notes for beta, movement, conditions, mistakes, and what changed between attempts.
Sendward also includes Auto Belay reminder checks. These reminders can help you pause before climbing and confirm your clip-in, carabiner lock, and tug test. Sendward does not hardware-confirm clip-in and does not replace personal responsibility or gym safety rules.
Apple Watch support keeps the live climbing loop close at hand. After a session is started on iPhone, the Watch can start climbs, finish climbs, log results, track rest, select active projects, and send heart rate information back to the iPhone archive.
Calendar Archive helps you review saved climbing days. Saved days can show the first facility initial, session summaries, climb counts, project attempts, heart rate overview, and PDF export options.
Sendward is simple on purpose: climb, log, recover, repeat.

WHAT’S NEW IN VERSION 1.1.6: This update improves Sendward’s rest tracking.
New in this version: • Rest recommendations now consider climb grade. • Rest still considers result, effort, discipline, and climb duration. • Higher grades can add a small rest adjustment. • Project climbs use the project’s saved grade when calculating rest. • iPhone now alerts when the rest countdown naturally reaches 0:00. • Apple Watch now gives a rest-finished alert when the countdown naturally reaches 0:00. • Rest alerts do not fire when ending rest early. • Rest alerts are guarded so the same rest interval does not keep alerting repeatedly.
This update keeps the existing iPhone + Apple Watch climbing loop, gym/facility support, Active Projects, project notes, heart rate tracking, Calendar Archive, and Auto Belay reminder checks.
