Au début lors de l’importation des PDF depuis Papers3 vers READCUBE mes 7500 documents ont mis beaucoup de temps à se charger. Il y a une fonction d’ailleurs pour downloaded les images des PDF tous ensemble. Ensuite le processus est très rapide.

Almost there

It needs still to include or to make some features more stable such as syncing annotation highlights between different operating system. But overall it is a great app and I believe the small issues will be solved. ReadCube team is trying to be helpful and fast responders to the issues we encounter.

Pencil annotations are terrible

I am evaluating it to replace zotero as it has no iPad app (in theory there is one in development but has no release date). I use pdfexpert for annotations normally. Annotating with the pencil is a total pain. There is no undo button, not cognisant way to erase handwritten notes (why not just have an eraser like everyone else), the pencil tools are overly complex. One additional tool would be the ability to add blank pages to take more handwritten notes.

I am very disappointed as I hoped to find a way to have a decent workflow. Instead I’ve wasted my time importing and learning how to use it (I used papers3 in the past before abandoning it for other reasons).
