Description
**You must own a Synology NAS to run this app, and have upgraded to DSM 5.2 to get the complete set of features**
DS file is ideal to manage files stored on your DiskStation, upload or download between the NAS and the iDevice itself, or do basic editing tasks. And always securely with HTTPS support. Besides file management, DS file is also a useful tool to do anything from browsing pictures, watching videos or checking work documents when you are on the go.

Works ok for the basics
Does the basics ok. Using VPN in combination with Files is a more enjoyable experience. Better integration with Files would be great. Also please update for iPad Mini 6 aspect ratio. It has been out for over a year now
good
works well to backup iPhone photos/videos,
DS File works great to simply browse files (Synology Drive syncs files, bloating iPhone storage),
can easily play videos, no need for DS Video,
one bug: if I kick off user connection in DSM, DS File logs again, browse and search, but cannot play/open files - I need to logout and login again in DS File
Good app but issue with pictures thumbnails
It cannot show thumbnails for picture formats as HEIC and TIF (iOS 14.7.1.). Especially HEIC thumbnails, if correctly shown, would help quickly finding inside folders pictures updated from iPhones. I would appreciate a fix. Thank you

Dear user, when connecting to DSM 7.0 or later, DS file has a new option in the setting: preview HEIC images. Please try DSM 7, thank you.
