I’ve been using gmail for many years and many accounts and I really love it. But today the widget just stopped working. It’s just a black space and I cannot see any new or recent emails which was always a thing that I liked the most about it. Is there any chance that it will be fixed soon? Thanks for reply.
Why it should be worst client ever?
Gmail is surprisingly (to Google) the worst email client ever created. This applies to both the mobile app and, inexplicably, the web. It's chaos for many years. You don't have a chance to understand how product owner can screw up such convenient things like these so badly. Now you can't even use swipe gesture to delete an email message. That's ridiculous. 21st century and Gmail is still fighting with how to do simple and clever email client. I would understand in case of not experienced people, enthusiasts but at such a big company? It's disaster. If you can avoid try to rather stick with the apple native client or other bit definitely not with Gmail.
Gmail
While I love Gmail and all GSuite tools, I sincerely hate the feature of suggesting frequently used email addresses while sending a new email on the app. This is just a tap away from selecting a wrong recipient and getting a message to a wrong person. Please kill this feature or let users disable it forever if they want in some intuitive way within the app and not through Google account which does not work anyway.
