Private LLM is a better alternative to generic llama.cpp and MLX wrappers apps like Enchanted, Ollama, LLM Farm, LM Studio, Locally AI, RecurseChat, etc on three fronts: 1. Private LLM uses a faster and highly-optimized mlc-llm based inference engine. 2. The app works as a local, private AI chatbot. I’ve used it for brainstorming and validating ideas. All good.What I’d like to see, is interaction with third-party apps: perhaps through Shortcuts, a URL scheme, or even a local server with an API. That would make the AI accessible to the rest of your iPhone. One better: it would make other apps accessible to the AI…The app is well made, looks good and is fairly polished. Good job!

Thanks for the review! Since you've mentioned Shortcuts and URL scheme, we've had support both Shortcuts and x-callback-url on iOS and on macOS for quite some time now. Local server wouldn't be possible on iOS, since iOS doesn't allow background execution of Metal, but it's certainly possible on macOS and is on our macOS roadmap.https://privatellm.app/faq#Can-I-use-Private-LLM-with-the-Shortcuts-app
