Interactive Controls for Fast Setup Blackmagic Camera has all the controls you need to quickly setup and start shooting! The HUD shows status and record parameters, histogram, focus peaking indicators, levels, frame guides and more. Show or hide the HUD by swiping up or down. You can auto focus by tapping the screen in the area you want to focus. Ohne diese App hätte ich mir das iPhone 15 Pro erst gar nicht gekauft. Benutze beruflich schon einige Kameras von Blackmagic und mit dieser App holen sie auch das ganze Potential aus der iPhone Kamera heraus. Wenn man hier ein paar gute Conversion LUTs verwendet ist endlich Schluss mit den abnorm unansehnlichen Farben und Kontrasten aus der Apple Kamera App. Überhaupt kein Vergleich.Ein wichtiges Feature würde ich mir aber noch wünschen: Ich zeichne im log-Profil auf und verwende meine LUTs als Display LUT ohne sie mit aufzunehmen, um später noch Flexibilität in der Post-Produktion zu haben. Wenn ich eines der Videos jetzt aber vorher schnell vom Handy verschicken möchte, kann ich es nur im log-Profil in die Kamera Mediathek übertragen, was natürlich nur blass und mies aussieht. Es wäre klasse, wenn es eine Option gäbe, dass die LUT beim übertragen in die Mediathek eingebrannt wird.

Blackmagicdesign zeigt mit dieser Kamera-App, was heute an professioneller Funktionalität und Qualität mit einem iPhone möglich ist. Alle relevanten Funktionen, die man von einer Videokamera erwartet, sind hier in einer iOS App implementiert und bereit für den produktiven Einsatz. Dies ist nicht nur ein Appetizer für die (großartigen!) Blackmagicdesign Cinema Kameras, dies ist das Real thing mit einstellbarer Framerate, Kompressionsalgorithmen, Formaten, Audioparametern, Farbraum und so weiter und das alles in einem übersichtlichen Interface, dem man die Erfahrung der Blackmagicdesign Entwickler anmerkt. Ich werde die App zukünftig regelmäßig nutzen - ideal als B-Roll u.a. bei Naturaufnahmen. Und ein Grund, als nächstes iPhone ein Modell mit guter Kamerahardware und ordentlich Speicher zu wählen.

Ich habe trotzdem einen Bug/Fehler auf meinem 14 Pro: der Stabilisator wird manchmal nicht aktiviert, ohne dass man einen Hinweis bekommt. Ich hatte 4k/60 aufgenommen und erst zuhause gesehen dass die Aufnahmen überhaupt nicht stabilisiert waren. Nach einigen weiteren Versuchen zuhause gings dann in allen Formaten. Ansonsten stört mich nur das sehr dicke Gitter.
