Incoming emails arrive automatically in the inbox of your mailbox. One after the other, in chronological order - but mixed thematically. In the smart inbox, new e-mails are displayed in individual categories - automatically, for a better overview. In the inbox, everything remains the same.
With the cloud, GMX offers you a professional, free storage solution. It is equally suitable for file backup as well as for simple and fast sharing of large files - e.g. photo series. Im Großen und Ganzen ganz gut geworden, die App. Am Mac und IPhone wurde jeweils die Funktion intelligentes Postfach abgeschaltet, zu überladen. Ebenso am Mac sollte die Mail-Löschen-Funktion dahingehend überarbeitet werden, dass man mehrere Mails hintereinander nach dem Lesen der Eingangszeilen, durch Wischen mit der Maus/Zeiger nach Links gleich löschen kann. Das erscheinende Dreifach-Menü ist überfrachtet. Also nicht jede Mail einzeln angeklickt werden muss zum Löschen. Im iPhone ist das integriert und vereinfacht die Handhabung. Am Mac und im iPhone sind alle Ordner, inklusive der Unterordner geöffnet. Besser wäre, wegen der Übersichtlichkeit, sind nur die obersten Ordner sichtbar. Die Unterordner werden nach dem Anklicken/Antippen der obersten Ordner sichtbar. Im iPhone sollten nach dem Wischen nach Rechts statt der Funktion Ungelesen, die Funktion Verschieben erscheinen. Wurde eine neue Mail geöffnet sollte der Werbespruch - Mail wurde mit Der GMX-App geschrieben - völlig entfallen. Das man das erst in den Einstellungen löschen muss, ist sinnlos. Ungelesene Mails deutlicher kenntlich machen, von gelesenen Mails. Am Mac werden ungelesene Mails angezeigt, obwohl alle Mails schon gelesen wurden. Erst nach Schließen der App verschwindet die Anzahlanzeige neuer ungelesener Mails.

Kein Abruf von kürzlich erhaltener E-Mails möglich
Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich durchaus zufrieden mit der App, allerdings stört mich vermehrt (vermutlich auch durch die letzten Neuerungen) dass ich keine Mails aufrufen kann, die älter als ein oder zwei Tage alt sind. Manchmal möchte ich einfach eine Mail oder einen Mail-Anhang nachschauen, der eine Woche alt ist, aber dann werden mir nur die neuesten E-Mails vom aktuellen Tag präsentiert und in der erweiterten Suche auf dem Server der Hinweis gegeben, dass diese E-Mail (bzw. der gesuchte Absender) im Posteingang nicht enthalten ist. Was aber Quatsch ist, denn wenn ich daheim im PC auf GMX nachschaue, ist diese 4 Tage alte E-Mail natürlich noch im Postfach. Aber auch in den anderen Ordnern gibt es keine ältere Mail zur Ein- oder Ansicht. Ich finde das ziemlich nervig, denn schließlich trage ich mein Postkasten ja auch absichtlich mit rum, damit ich gerade bei GMX immer wieder nachsehen kann, was mir von verschiedenen Seiten zugesandt wurde. Selbst der Spam Ordner quillt in der Übersicht mit 53 E-Mails über, aber sehen kann ich nur die drei aktuell zugeschickten Spams. Ich würde mir wünschen E-Mails zumindest der letzten 10 Tage einsehen zu können (am allerliebsten 1 Monat)
