Tired of Apple Mail opening every time you click an email address? Mailway automatically routes mailto links to the right email app or webmail service. Set it up once, then forget about it. Pick your primary email app, add optional rules, and every mailto link just goes to the right place.
Works system-wide, not just in the browser. Mailway doesn't need to stay running. It launches only when you click a mailto link, routes it, and quits.

■ Rules
Match by exact email address, domain, or domain including subdomains. You can also match by which app the mailto link was clicked in. Combine conditions for precise control.
■ Webmail
Use Gmail, Fastmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Yandex, AOL, Zoho, or any webmail service with a custom URL. Mailway opens the compose window directly in your browser with the recipient, subject, and body pre-filled.
Tip: Use my Velja app to open webmail links in a specific browser or browser profile.

‣ Why do I need to set Mailway as the default email app?
Mailway works by being the system default email app. This is the only way macOS allows an app to intercept and route mailto links.
‣ Can I use different email apps for different recipients?
Yes. Create rules in the Rules tab to route emails by recipient address, domain, or subdomain.
‣ Can I choose the email app each time I click a mailto link?
No. Mailway is designed to route emails automatically based on your rules and settings. There are no plans for a manual selection prompt.
