In meinen Augen in mehreren Punkten besser als die derzeitige Konkurrenz. Mit Smart Folders kann man sich bequem eigene Filter bauen und die Suchfunktion ist ausgebauter als bei anderen von mir getesteten RSS Readern. Man kann mehrere Konten unter derselben URL anlegen und Readkit eignet sich auch hervorragend dazu Podcasts zu abonnieren. Eine Option die ich vermisse ist durch weiteres scrollen am Ende einer liste alle Artikel als gelesen zu markieren (wie z.B bei Reeder) und zusätzliche Features zur Podcast Wiedergabe z.B merken von angefangenen Folgen und Fortsetzung an letzter Position. Eine History Funktion wäre super um zuletzt gelesene Artikel schnell aufzuspüren. Ansonsten ein schicker sehr funktionaler Reader den ich unbedingt weiterempfehlen kann!
Bester Feedreader

Seit Jahren habe ich die Gratis-Version von Feedly genutzt. Doch die Werbung innerhalb der App wurde immer mehr, sodass ich nun auf FreshRSS (self hosted) umgestiegen bin und mit der ReadKit-App darauf zugreife. Die App sieht schick aus, ist performant und zuverlässig. Sehr gute Benutzerführung. Das User Interface ist auch nicht überladen und auf das Wesentliche beschränkt. Nebenbei gibt es mit den Smart Foldern ein super praktisches Hilfsmittel. Da ich kein Fan von monatlichen Abo-Modellen bin, habe ich nun einmalig 23 € für die Lifetime-Lizenz ausgegeben und kann alle Features nutzen. Für eine Produktivapp, die ich mehrfach am Tag nutze, finde ich den Preis noch in Ordnung.

Für mich der zweitbeste RSS Reader auf dem iPhone, nach Newsify. Man braucht auch kein, Abo, es gibt auch einen Einmalkauf - das unterstütze ich gerne mit einer Einmahlzahlung!Was Newsify aber besser macht, ist, dass es bei Newsify bei 99,9 % aller Artikel ein Vorschaubild gibt, bei ReadKit nur bei ca 90 %. Und bei ReadKit komme ich mit dem wischen nach rechts, um einen Artikel zu schließen, nicht klar. Das muss ich immer gefühlt fünfmal versuchen, bis es klappt. Daher muss ich dann doch immer lieber auf den Pfeil links oben tippen, um zurück zu gehen.

Great set of features and I like it - also knowing that it’s supported over many years now!What’s buggy: I use Miniflux and RSS-Bridge behind it for some feeds and some of those don’t show up with a feed icon… other readers like Lire or so show them and also Miniflux via webui.Also it would be nice to be able to put the feed title and icon in the article list to the bottom of each article or hide them..
• Enabled navigation bar hiding while scrolling articles on iOS/iPadOS 26.
• Fixed authentication and syncing issues for Instapaper and Tiny Tiny RSS.
• Other minor improvements and fixes.
