New Features: • Recents in food search can now be filtered by meal and sorted by most recent, most frequent, or alphabetically. Meal and frequency data starts building in this app update, so those two options will start empty and populate as you log. Improvements: • Continued progress optimizing MacrosFirst to work better on iPads and larger screens: checkout the new + button menu. Bug Fixes: • Fixed an issue that prevented you from dragging foods on your Journal into empty meals.

Improvements: • Continued progress optimizing MacrosFirst to work better on iPads and larger screens. Bug Fixes: • Fixed an issue that caused the app to slow down the longer it stayed open. • Fixed an issue where updating a body weight entry recorded it twice in Apple Health, and deleting one didn’t remove it from Apple Health.

Bug Fixes: • Fixed an issue where the keyboard would not open in Food Search on iPads and other large screens. • Performance improvements

Performance improvements

Bug Fixes: • Fixed an issue where sharing meals from the Journal was inconsistent

New Features: • MacrosFirst now speaks German, French, Dutch, and Italian. If you your device's system language to any of those, then the app follows automatically — nothing to configure. More languages are coming soon. Bug Fixes: • Fixed an issue where the camera would not open when sharing a meal photo from your Journal. • Fixed a rare issue where some users reported their app would slow down. • Fixed a bug where Daily Meals could get duplicated if your network connection was especially slow when starting a new session.

New Features: • A completely rebuilt nutrition label scanner. It previously handled only U.S. and Canadian labels; now it reads any label format, in any language, with dramatically better accuracy. Available to Plus members. • MacrosFirst now speaks Spanish and Portuguese. If your device's system language is set to either one, the app switches automatically; nothing to configure. Dozens more languages are on the way over the next few weeks.

Bug Fixes: • Resolved a bug where if you deleted the meal level goals from a Daily Meal it would not save. • Auto targets for Omega 6 were 10x too low due to a missed decimal point. This is now fixed. • Fixed an issue where the day's goal shown on Daily Meals would come from your Journal for the same day that week instead of your Daily Goal schedule. • Copying a Daily Meal from one day to another now carries the meal‑level goals over too.

Bug Fixes: • Fixed scheduled Daily Meals disappearing after viewing a friend's account. • Fixed dashboard fat totals not matching the Journal on days with an alcoholic beverage logged with "Convert alcohol to macros" enabled. • Resolved an issue where logging a food with no nutrition data would block every other food from syncing to Apple Health that day.

Improvements: • Apple Watch complications now work on older watchOS versions. Bug Fixes: • Fixed scheduled foods disappearing from your day when copying meals from a friend. • Fixed edits to AI Search results being ignored when logging your food. • Fixed recipe preparation instructions losing their formatting when importing from a website.

New Feature: • The Apple Watch app is here! Log foods, track body weight and water, and check nutrient totals hands-free with Siri voice commands. Add complications to see any of the 57 nutrients MacrosFirst tracks at a glance. Bug Fixes: • Fixed a duplicate meal getting created when copying meals from a friend to an empty day on your Journal • Fixed scheduled foods getting incorrectly added to your Journal when logging foods to a day in the past

New Feature: • Hands-free food logging with Siri: Just say "Hey Siri, log food in MacrosFirst" to log foods entirely by voice, powered by AI Search. Bug Fixes: • Fixed the app getting stuck after viewing a friend's account, requiring a restart to return to your own account. • Fixed scheduled foods not always syncing to Apple Health when logged from the Log Items button on the Journal. • Home and lock screen nutrient widgets now correctly reset at midnight instead of carrying over the previous day's totals.

New Features: • AI Food Search v2: Rebuilt from the ground up — dramatically more accurate whether you type, speak, paste a recipe, or snap a photo. Photo logging now identifies each dish and breaks it into component ingredients (even hidden ones like the oil in a stir-fry), so you can see exactly how AI arrived at your numbers. Verified nutrition data — no AI hallucinations. • Show serving size in grams: New optional display that shows gram weight next to the serving unit. For example, If you logged 3 cookies and each cookie weighed 10 g, then if you'd enabled this new setting the serving size would be shown as: "3 cookie (30 g)". Turn it on under Settings → Food Layout. • More Siri Shortcuts: Log weight and water hands-free. Bug Fixes • Fixed the Log Foods button occasionally being unresponsive when logging the first foods of a new day.

New Feature: • Siri Shortcuts & voice commands: Log foods and check your remaining nutrients hands-free. Improvements: • Get a push notification when customer support replies to your chat. Bug Fixes: • iPad: Fixed the share sheet failing to appear. • Fixed rare case where Daily Meals occasionally disappeared after an app update until you logged out and back in. • Nutrient target changes now show in the chart instantly — no need to exit and come back. • Onboarding: Fixed a scrolling issue for phones with smaller screens.

New Feature: • Daily Meals (Premium): Eat the same breakfast every morning? You can now schedule recurring foods to auto-log each day. Find it under More → Daily Meals. Improvements: • Saved Meals now show a collage of the foods inside them instead of the generic fork-and-napkin icon.

Bug Fixes: • After logging back in, previously recorded step data wasn't displaying — fixed. • The calendar on habit screens was getting cut off for certain months — fixed. • Nutrient progress bars on the Review Selected Foods screen showed "No Target" even when one was set — fixed. • Nutrient progress bars on the Nutrition Report showed progress against a goal even when no daily target was set — fixed. • Empty days were being included in average calculations on the Macronutrient chart, dragging averages down — they're now excluded. • Cleaned up a batch of behind-the-scenes errors flagged by our monitoring — invisible to you, but better stability overall.

New Features: • You can now import your daily step count from Apple Health and view it directly on your dashboard. Improvements: • Smoother transitions when exploring your historical trends • The body weight logging flow has been updated with the new calendar date picker for easier input Bug Fixes: • "Last 7 days" and other preset date ranges in the interactive charts were including an extra day — that's corrected • Empty days were being factored into average calculations in the interactive charts and dragging them down — they're now excluded

Bug Fixes: - Smoother access to AI search from regular food search when no foods are found. - Fixed an issue on the dashboard where calorie overages weren't always graphing properly when your week contained different daily goals. - Restored missing food icon fly-in animation on the Meals & Recipe tabs of food search

New Features • All charts (macronutrient, micronutrient, and body weight) now support Day, Week, or Month aggregation — making it easier to spot trends like your average fiber intake per week over time. • If a food search returns no results, you'll see an option to run the same query in AI Search. Great for complex searches like "120 g of yogurt, 1 handful of berries, 1 egg". • Redesigned Barcode Scanner with a new option to upload a barcode photo from your camera roll. No product in front of you? No problem. Improvements • Autocorrect is now disabled in the search field — no more unexpected result reordering when tapping a result mid-word.

We redesigned the dashboard with a cleaner, more polished look and new metrics including: - Habit tracking widgets — See your weigh-ins and food logging streaks at a glance - Improved weight tracking — See your weight trend over time. This is the first version of the new dashboard — think of it as Chapter 1. We have a lot more planned, including additional metrics, customization options, and more ways to make the dashboard truly yours. Expect updates to keep rolling in over the coming weeks.
