Who is it for?
The app is perfect for primary school pupils, individual one-minute tasks focus on adding and subtracting, multiplying and dividing – and on ‘Subitising’, the skill of instantly recognising the number of items in a group without counting.
How does it work?
Each task gives children engaging and targeted practice in basic number. The app includes a range of topics, with no specific starting point, so a child can begin wherever they like. By applying randomly generated questions every time, users learn the concept and not a sequence of answers. Once a task completes, questions are marked and presented on the screen, giving instant feedback on how they’ve done. It’s quick, simple to use, and most of all, FUN!

My child loves this APP. It is easy to use and will really help to build a better understanding of number. I think there should be some simple additions and subtractions using visuals such as a 5 frame or 10 frame as standard. Yes, the hint function offers this but is that not just teaching the children that using visuals (or equipment) is for those that ‘can’t do it’? There should be a level with visuals already on the screen before moving to the level where the ‘hint’ button is introduced.

i needed to download this for school and even tho im a teenager it has definitely helped me with my times tables and divisions, whenever me and my friends are bored we always do this and even tho it's actually meant for younger kids we love it. For example me and my friend get dropped off and pick up from rehearsal all the time and we play it in the car and she always asks me if she can pkay it because she cant download it. This app is so good and you should definitely get it if you need it.

This is a fantastic app for all ages, to learn and improve fluency and also keep brain training and active. As it is so quick, my children will happily do a few sessions as they know it won’t take ages, and end up doing more than they planned! Would have given 5 stars if I could track progress or see weak areas - but a great tool recommended for anyone

The reason for this three star review is because of the free no ads and one of the cons is that sometimes when you press the number one and you go down to say a zero at the bottom it will automatically think you’re pressing enter so I think there should be two options and option where you type the answer in and an option where you say the answer allowed and it types into the screen
