360Eye S 4+

When I bought the camera in November the “360 map” it builds didn’t work. There have been a few updates to the app since and it still doesn’t work! It’s supposed to move the camera to various positions and create a 360 degree image of the area or can see, which you can then navigate by simply clicking and area on the map with your finger - sounds amazing but sadly, doesn’t work at all.

The second weird thing it does is - my camera moves on its own! I point it at a a specific area and 3 hours later it’s moved! Really useful that, thanks!

The actual hardware is surprisingly good for a cheap camera. Interestingly it’s actual only 350 degrees not 360 but that’s advertising for you.

Oh and I USED to be able to set “patrol” areas, so the camera would move to a set point at a set time - so you can monitor a door at 9:00am and then move to the gates at 9:30am and the the yard after 17:00 for example. It was a great idea and it’s why I wanted a PTZ camera. Sadly this feature was always unreliable when it was available (because the camera moved on its own) but now it’s gone completely! The feature I bought the product for has just gone! Brilliant service chaps!

Conclusion: Use it as an ONVIF camera with some decent software and bin the app. It’s rubbish.

Installed app without a problem. Pictures are very clear, including the night vision. The sound is obscured with a constant background noise, so you cannot hear what is being said. The most frustrating thing for me is even with a 64gb micro sd card it doesn’t record footage, so you can only capture footage if you are watching to press the video camera button, this defeats the purpose of the camera. On moving the time line backwards to see what has been happening during the day, it displays a no video footage message. Good for live streaming but does not work for constant recording.

Calling anyone who has one of these WiFi cameras or something similar, Some complete nonce seems to have hacked ours that was in our daughters room.
My partner heard a voice coming through earlier today, Looking back at the video this time frame was missing (exact time the voice came through). I put an encryption password on the device and decided to unplug it, 5 mins before unplugging it the camera moved to look at the bedroom door that was open. Only me and my partner have access to the app and neither of us moved the camera. Please let everyone you all know that may have one of these WiFi cameras or a similar one.
