SriHome 4+

App works ok, but only one person can be logged on to the camera at any one time, there is a function to share the app/camera but every time I press that function, the app crashes why is this???? How can I get multiple viewers on the camera, also I have a different Sri cam why can’t I get both cameras on the same app?? Why do I have to have two separate apps?? Help would be much appreciated

Whilst this app is better than the older SP series app it is a great pity that it it is not backwards compatible. You have to run both apps if you have the older cameras. Other non-Sricam apps such as Centcom can manage to run both types of camera at the same time so why can’t Sricam? Also the setting up of new cameras is slightly easier but other apps do it much more smoothly and judging from the negative reviews some owners still find it too difficult. The cameras themselves are excellent value and I have used them for years. If you can struggle through setting up the app it is worth it. Please also note the Sricam email help service actually works with some responses in less than a day (Just keep your language simple).

Having cameras from both the SP and SH series I can say that the SriHome (SH series) far outstrip the older units.

Images are clearer and App (IOS) faster and easier to use than Sricam (SP series) offering detection zone masking and virtual lack of pixelation during focusing.

Disadvantages are that the SP and SH series devices are not cross compatible, at least with Sricam Apps, when displayed on iPad Pro 10.5” image from sH024 camera looses its aspect ratio and appears heightened and, there are currently far fewer products available at this time in the SH series.
