Progressing
We upgraded to Act! v19 to access this app for our sales teams. Though it does solve some of the concerns we have with using act Web through the iPhone browser the app is currently very basic. Because of this we currently haven't rolled it out to our teams. We will be keeping a close eye on the next few updates as the app has a lot of potential and is making good progress. Is there a blog or twitter feed where we can track progress and keep up to date on new versions releases?
Poor Functionality
We have been using Act for over 15 years, most recently enduring the appalling upgrade to v22 and numerous updates to fix multiple issues. Act companion is poorly executed and lacks functionality. At best a list of contacts, would be better if they developed an integration tool that worked better with existing software such as Outlook or Apple rather than trying to deliver a stand alone product that fails. With draw it or develop it please.
Insufficient
I was expecting an app that would complement the platform. Big mistake! Crashed several times and had to delete and restore the app also. Once active the data is a minimal level just like a large phone book..Nothing fancy and basic with issues.
