AudioLINK – providing real time data extraction from Aico/Ei Carbon Monoxide Alarms.

Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a silent killer. It’s a by-product of burning any fossil fuel, such as coal, oil, wood and gas. You can’t see it, smell it or taste it – remove the guesswork with AudioLINK.

The AudioLINK App enables you to extract real time data from a compatible Aico/Ei CO Alarm, generating an Alarm Status Report that provides information on:
- Peak CO level detected
- Alarm activations, levels of CO and when events occurred
- Background levels of CO
- Age/run-time of the CO alarm
- Test button activations
- CO sensor status

What you need:
- An AudioLINK enabled CO Alarm
- An iPhone
- The AudioLINK App

The AudioLINK App gives full instructions on how to extract, interpret and save the data. The App will also store the most recent Alarm Status Report.

Technical information:

The mobile phone must be held a minimum of 50cm away from the Alarm when extracting the data.
Patent Application No. 11394025.8

Big Dave Turbo ,

Currently no longer working on iPhone 11

Been using this app for about a year now, upgraded my phone to the 11, and now the app no longer works, as far as I’m aware it’s up to date , app loads up fine until you ask it to record the data burst and the app shuts down

Please fix it ASAP

Appears to be working

Downloaded information from 3 optical, 2 multi-sensor (heat and optical), 1 heat and 1 carbon monoxide alarm from the 3000 series. All downloaded first time except for one of the optical alarms which downloaded on the second attempt.
Information is very comprehensive and even includes how old the alarm is since date of manufacture.
Use of ear defenders would be a sage decision.

It does not work.

This app just does not work. I have tried it with 5 series 3000 alarms (3028, 3024 and 3014) with 3 different iPhones and all sorts of distances from the alarms and the result is always the same: it appears to be recording the data, then it shows that it is processing and then it reports that there was an error. The suggested workaround is always to bring the phone closer to the alarm, which does not work. I get to think that it is just a marketing gimmick, even though it is not needed, the alarms are excellent without it,
