The riveting ananse stories presented by the developer fills me with nostalgia. They take me back to my childhood. To a world devoid of smart phones and modern technology where grandma and my parents would tell us the stories of crafty and wise ananse. I always looked forward to hearing about the moral lesson hidden within the story. So just like my parents the stories are well told by the developer of the app and are a delight to read. Kudos for the excellent narration and the succinct story telling.

Solid work so far eager to see where it goes

Been wanting to see stuff like this ever since watching black panther. I am glad that I got told about this app. I like the simplicity and ease of navigation within the app. One thing I was hoping to see more is more tales of Shango. and more Ananse stories. I am curious for what the team has in store.

Flawed interface, poor typography

As a lover of world myths I was interested to see what Anansesem had to offer. Sadly, the app is not designed well as it doesn’t scale the content windows or text to fit in the screen of a iPhone SE/7. Also the story formatting isn’t great because all the text runs into a single block of text and doesn’t have any paragraphs. I also think it’s a bit of a cop out to use AI art / wouldn’t it be better to use the artic talents of Yoruba speakers to personalise the stories? Come on team, it’s a good concept - make a better home for these important stories.
