I’m not one to be negative, so I’ll start with the positives of this app:
The clothes are reasonably priced, and there isn’t anything you won’t be able to find on this app! Shipping is accurate and comes at the right time (please note that I only ever use standard shipping). However, the clothes are a little small so go a size up if what you’re buying looks like it may be tight. I’ve been using this app for over a year and no troubles other than the clothes are typically quite thin, sheer and small. The material may not be what you expected it to be either. Apart from that, the colours are how they appear on the model and there’s always a sale on making the clothes a reasonably cheap price. They do look really great if you buy the right things!
A recent problem I’ve experienced on this app however is that it has not been able to register my card. My card works fine on other apps, but this problem has prevented me from purchasing any clothes on here. I hope this is fixed soon, I’m looking forward to shopping on here when this has been solved!
1. First the app kindly decided to keep crashing when I was mid way through a very long list of a specific item (e.g. I’d typed in black leather skirt, selected my size and what I wanted it sorted into) and it crashed, leaving me having to do the whole process again (this happened numerous times.
2. Secondly, boohoo decided to stop adding things to my wishlist without me knowing so as I went through the WHOLE of EACH INDIVIDUAL list that I’d once again tailored to each size etc, unbeknown to me it hadn’t added loads of things to my list, leaving me unknown to which lists I needed to re-tailor to my needs and once again have to go back and redo and once again very annoyed
3. The app has now took the last straw. MY WHOLE WISHLIST IS GONE, all of it! And it won’t even let me add anything to it! I had over 100 items on this list and I’m not prepared to go through all the tailored lists of both men’s and women’s once again! All my Xmas presents for my sister and boyfriend and of course many for myself...GONE.
Although on a positive note, which I suppose makes this a tad worse, I do love the clothes and most are reasonably priced but I shall not be purchasing from boohoo again unfortunately as I’m too annoyed and have no patience left for the app or the shop.
Ease of use and next day delivery
I downloaded the app to order dresses, when I got to the basket I wanted to edit the quantity. There was no option to edit on this app on my iPhone 7 Plus, I had to go onto the actual website to edit my basket. I selected next day delivery when I place my order on Monday, on Tuesday my items were not delivered, on Wednesday I received an email saying that my items will be delivered, my items were not delivered on, Thursday I received an email saying my I would receive my order, my items were not delivered, by this time I am thoroughly upset and email boohoo as I have been since Tuesday evening. The use Hermes which have delivered my items before🤷🏽♀️. An email is sent that I will receive my order, this has been 3 days in a row the same thing. 3 days later, still no delivery, they say the couriers can’t find my address, I don’t live in a cave, I live in London. We are in a the most advanced technological era and the courier can’t find on address. It is now Friday and I received an email stating my items will be delivered I am waiting for my items to be delivered😠😡🤬🤯
