Tried to order a cabify in the early morning however there were not available. I found a normal taxi and tried to cancel the search. The app quit unexpectedly and wouldn't let me go back in. The next day when I woke up I had found that even though the app quit the search still went on and some driver accepted by trip - I didn't get any notifications regarding this and got charged €7,5 for nothing. When I complained with them a employee called Adja Kane copied and pasted their cancellation policy and sent it to me a week after the complain was made without even having read what I wrote or what happened. Lost my money, paid for a normal cab and had to deal with their horrible customer service. Stay away and don't use this service! Not recommended!

I reserved with cabify ahead of my trip to spain only to have the driver cancel on me leaving me stuck at the airport without any wifi. When i got wifi i tried rebooking on cabify but it would leave me on an endless loop of re entering my starting location and waiting longer on the queue. It was the worst experience especially being in a new country that speaks a different language, what was the point in reserving? Imagine if i wasnt able to get wifi i would still be stuck at the airport. I had to book using Uber which came promptly. I tried to give Cabify a second chance but Ive had drivers cancel on me three more times, and each time I was charged as though the journey still happened. I dont know if its a flaw that drivers are taking advantage of but it needs to be fixed otherwise I dont think I would trust this app to use it again. Also, in terms of driver conduct one couldnt find me despite me putting my exact location, calling him and sending him multiple times the bar that was directly opposite me. He still cancelled without any repercussions as I was charged for nothing at all! Unbelievable! Another driver wouldnt allow me in the back seat which I said ok, but he wouldnt turn on the A/C or wind down the windows which is absolutely unprofessional and rude behaviour. Finally, there needs to be an option in-app to remove promotional notifications as I find them unnecessary and its frankly suspicious and hilarious that a sizeable app like this doesnt have that functionality.

5 stars at stealing your money.
Stranded in Barcelona
Tried to order 3 different taxis on Cabify late at night as bus weren’t working and normal taxis were busy. The first was cancelled by the driver and the other two said they were too far away and requested I cancelled them, so I cancelled and put the reason for cancelling that the driver has requested a cancellation in the reason pop up. Having found a local taxi for a lot cheaper I arrived back to my Airbnb and found that they had charged me for 2 not taken trips. I lost a total of nearly £45 and the local taxi was £10. Don’t use it!!!!!!!!!!

I had an issue with accessing the app and after contacting the customer support via Twitter, I contacted them via form on their website. Not only I have not received the right help, but they assistant did not even read my issue. So I guess if you don’t have any issue you’ll find the app fine, but if you have an issue, you’ll never be able to solve it. Maybe is better to avoid this app. My recommendation: use Uber or Bolt, at least there is a live chat and they are willing to listen, read, understand and help.PS: my issue is that I want to use the service but I can’t access it.Update: after customer service blamed my device and myself when in fact was an app issue, Cabify did an update and I was able to access. Because of the update I’m giving them 3 stars.
