Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team 4+

I miss an old 90’s Tsubasa game, and this one represents that really well with new additions that keep you play the game. Yes, dreamballs are expensive, but the game generously provides options to get them for free. If you keep playing and participate in events you’ll get decent-good cards and can be competitive with money-players without paying anything. The story mode gives a nice tour to the original Tsubasa manga. On-line mode sometimes limited total team power which force people to come up with a good team combination, and gives free/new players a chance. To sum up, this game is a solid 5 stars for me.

I’ve been playing this game for a good couple of months now and was very much enjoying myself. However, in the last 2 days, I’ve been having sudden crashing issues and it’s been bugging me immensely. Especially when it comes to Ranked Matches when suddenly disconnecting (even if it is through no fault of your own) is counted as an automatic loss.

This all came to a head in my most recent match where it was 1-0 and I was in the process of (most likely, considering the GK’s remaining stamina) making it 2-0 with only seconds of play left. And then, I just suddenly disconnected. There was no possibility for my opponent to score 2 goals in the time that was remaining, so the game would have AT LEAST been a draw. BUT, because of the terrible connection, I automatically lose, even though I had all but won my match.

I get why you have this as a feature, being able to disconnect with no repercussions would be incredibly abusable. I get it, I do. But, please don’t penalise me for disconnecting when I have no control over it. If you fix this sudden crashing issue that’s suddenly popped up then this is easily a 5-star review. Love the game otherwise.

Ok, I have grown up with Captain Tsubasa and I love this game, I have spend hours on my Nintendo playing it and also hours trying to write down all the hieroglyphs for the saved game and the progress (I never had it in English) .. so when I sow the developed game I got excited. I downloaded it and the good thing is that the original game play is kept and I really enjoy that...but.. there are way too much things going on, as simple as that. I like that you can upgrade the players and teach them new skills and you can do transfers etc, but they should have just left it there. It takes me like 5-10 minutes until I actually start a match... lots of different colour screens and sub menus and all that nonsense that is present in a lot of the new AppStore games actually... just simplify it people. That’s it
