Chessington Resort 4+

A recommendation for Junior who was working on the scorpion express ride . He interacted very well with all the clients and was really helpful . He chatted to the children while we waited our turn . We were very impressed by his whole attitude to the job he was doing . He took his role seriously and was very safety conscious. He said he was only 17 years of age but his whole manner and courteous nature were exceptional.
This was one of the children's favourite rides as their really really favourite ride , The Gruffalo was closed which was a real disappointment.
We have stayed at Chessington a few times now and love it but as we travel from Dublin to visit family only make it once a year .

We had a great day at chesssington today but me and my cousin waited for rattle snake at first it said it was 5 mins on the app but no it felt like 20 -25 but ok so we get a person saying that it has broken and lose of people start to go so I say let’s just wait and see because more people might leave and we will get to the front and it will be back and running so more people left and then we really did get to the front so then they say that we have to leave no matter what so it took us half an hour to get there and they decide to make us go but then we were really sad for the rest of the day because we asked if they would give us a ticket or something to come back later or something but no they say I’m sorry we don’t do that ok so then we ask another person when will it be back open and they say it’s closed for the rest of the day so then we are really sad I think it is quite bad though anyway that’s my review and my fav rides we’re Kobra and vampire and it was are first times going on rattle snake but no it decided to evacuate us :(but other than that we had a great day this app is really useful but sometimes the queue lines weren’t right because one time we wanted to go on vampire and it and it stayed 20 mins so I thought why not and we went there and it was 40 but anyway thanks for listening bye ❤️

We had a great time at the park, and the app was pretty useful. The features could do with highlighting a bit better or maybe a tutorial on first use to show all the app has to offer.

Also at one point one of the rides, Tiger rock I think, was showing the queue time, but would not give us directions or how long to get there. I thought maybe that meant it was closed, but then I noticed other rides were marked as closed, so I guess not.

One of the rides, Tomb Blaster, broke down. This added to the adventure, and when we got out we were given a priority pass for another ride. The staff were very good and checked we were all ok.

The real downside was the battery consumption of the app. Luckily my iPhone is less than a year old, so my battery health is pretty good but even so, it still drained my battery after an almost full day at the park, 10:10 - 17:30.

If the developers could work on reducing the battery consumption and create a tutorial and highlight the features like queue length, that would be awesome. Another tweak might be more options to filter for ride type and maybe include body dryers on the map.
