Created by British editors, Crossword Pro is a classic crossword app with a useful twist. In arrow words puzzles, the clues are shown right in the puzzle grid, making them easy to view and play on the iPad and iPhone screen.
This lovingly produced app includes 3,000 all-new Arrow Words puzzles in 4 levels. Easier levels use simpler words and a smaller grid, perfect for a short break. Harder levels have tougher clues and larger puzzle grids for hours of challenging fun. Also, careful editing and a huge pool of words ensure that clues don’t repeat too often.
The sound and graphics are also designed for true crossword aficionados. Choose from four visual interfaces that recreate the atmosphere of the crossword in the Sunday paper. If you miss using your favorite pen to solve puzzels, you’ll love the optional sounds of a moving pen as you fill in the squares, custom recorded for each letter!

Used to love this app before the update
Before the recent update this was my go to game. Easy to play and navigate with 4 different playing levels to choose from. It was all free and nothing to pay for with no ads, but now you can’t use the find error button, solve letter and solve word buttons without watching an advert unless you pay a premium! I also don’t like the new layout and the buttons look really old fashioned unlike before. This game used to be great and I like that it uses British words, phrases and spellings. But now, I’ve deleted the app because I don’t want to waste my time watching ads or paying for something that used to be free.
Sudden ad problem
This app is, in itself great but in the last few days there’s suddenly loads of ads slowing down and obscuring the screen
