Gets better all the time

I have it on all of my devices: pc, Mac, iPhone and iPad. They have improved tremendously since the beginning and it is mostly easy to use - it started by being a great program and has got better! We use it for business and personal and my only big bear is form filling when it tries to put my personal data in a business form. I guess I probably only use about 10% of what is there and never read the instructions - it could probably make my life a lot easier but remembering 300 passwords takes a great weight off of my shoulders. It does seem to struggle with wanting to duplicate some passwords such as banks where it already has the password and offers to save it again, but I guess that is the bank making it difficult for hackers. Good program well worth the money - it will grow on you!

Money making racket

Well I ve been with Dashlane for probably four to five years, and have used the app consistently for storing passwords. Last year they decided to enforce charges, prohibiting additional password storage, unless you subscribed to premium usage, I decided to simply cut and paste existing old passwords no longer used, so I was able to carry on updating and storing new companies and passwords, now from 4th June Dashlane are restricting 25plus password storage to read only for free users. Premium access is £4.99 month paid annually at £60. Why does everyone look to charge and make more and more money. Guys I pay enough with lots of subscriptions. You re not going to be another monthly outgoing. I would rather give this money to charity. iPhone storage has key store password facility, and I ve just transferred all my passwords over and it s just as accessible and easy to use. So I leave Dashlane with a sour taste in my mouth. I don t like any company offering a free service, getting you dependant, and then forcing you to pay for their original service. I have openly reccomended this app to friends, social media, but will now advise anyone close to me how they operate.i wish the developers well, but would add this world is just not about making MONEY

I am a real fan, but it needs improvement.

I will start by saying the new look icon is terrible, the corporate blag that it was inspired from some random artist is a real laugh. The Dashlane management team were really sold a pup by a graphic designer. That coming from a premium business user, all my staff were bewildered by it. However in functionality it is very useful. My only comment is that you must remember to log in at boot up on any device, it does not watch your actions otherwise, meaning when confronted with a big form it is very difficult to wake Dashlane up and resume the form fill. It’s less hassle to fill the form out yourself. It could launch automatically and prompt for a password if it sees it is needed rather than be woken up after its needed. Other glitches are you often end up with multiple log ons for the same site, and manually setting up a new app log in it needs a web address when not is available it’s a app off a play store. But despite the complaints, it is very useful, it does really simplify your on line life.
