A LIFE SAVER

I’ve used so many different apps and websites during my time as a multi drop driver, I can honestly say this is the best app I’ve found.

Having Cornwall as my route is an absolute nightmare. New estates and barn conversions never show up on google or Apple maps. Online Council maps are the next best thing but it’s very difficult and time consuming trying to follow them while driving. It looks like this app takes the geo location from a database then inputs it automatically to google maps, giving you the benefit of having the exact address location as well as the easy to use navigation that comes with google maps. Just enter a postcode, select the address from the drop down list, and you’re away. It’s so quick and painless, I honestly can’t see why anyone would rate this less than 5 stars. I’m going to tell everyone at the depot about this app.

Nice effort

I had really had high hopes for this app but its not as good as I hoped, about 20% of the locations are missing it's far from a comprehensive navigator, perhaps the worst thing though is that it won't work without a 4G connection despite the description saying it has off-line maps, this is not the case if there is no 4G connection you cannot use this app. I was also hoping to use this app as the Rueter and although you can put in multiple stops it won't sort those into a delivery order. This is a good effort and I'm sure one day it will be a brilliant app but not yet.
For whatever reason the developer has made this difficult to use even after a week of using it I just can't grasp are you certain things work I don't seem to work the same way twice, and the map displays are poor for a Courier as the information I want lights ETA and distance are in the bottom left hand corner in such small text you need a microscope to read it, very badly thought out.

hi cantbebothrrex, thanks a lot for taking time to write to us. Not sure where you read about offline maps, but it won't be from us.
I have used the app on many different connections including in the rural areas, it needs internet to work.
On the route optimisation query - we will continue to improve the app and hopefully solve that problem too.

UPS COVER DRIVER

I work for UPS as a cover driver and mainly cover extremely rural areas. In most cases, I have 4G luckily and this app has saved my backside an uncountable amount of times in the past and will do so until I know where every single property is!

If it wasn’t for this app I’d of failed to deliver thousands of parcels the last 3-4 years.

100% worth the £4 per month and as soon as the DELM8 PRO app becomes available I’ll be paying the extra for that too! Note, not sure if it’s is or isn’t available yet but I haven’t been able to find the app in apple App Store as of 7th April 2022.

Yes, it had its moments just like anything else tech wise but that’s usually down to 3G or less strength signal so make sure you are certain the app and the coordinates picked up on Google maps are correct before proceeding to the required destination.

An absolute must have app and I use it 50% of my working hours!
