Shoddy service

After loading the app and visiting the first restaurant listed in my vicinity I had to find out when paying the bill they have never heard of the app neither they have ever been a member or intend to becoming one, this was stated by the owner of the restaurant . Complaining to the fine team I received the following response :
“We always recommend booking in advance and letting the restaurant know you're a Dine Member. Further to this, it states in our Terms and Conditions that sometimes restaurant details or particular offer details have to be withdrawn, cancelled, or amended due to circumstances beyond our control. We try to communicate these where possible, however we are not liable for such charges or restaurant that refuses to honour the stated discount. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused.”

Means they have no control.
I got a 1 year membership as part of my insurance with go compare and must say pretty disappointed and would have been furious if I would have paid for such a lousy app and response by their customer service team.

False advertising

I’ve had the same issue as many other users. After eating our meal and producing the app we were told by the restaurant manager that the offer wasn’t valid on Sunday, even though the app stated it was. I emailed the ‘Dine’ customer services and all I got was an acknowledgement that they had received my email and nothing else. Don’t waste your time with this app, the Meerkat and Tastecard ones are much better, a lot more choice and they actually work!

Good variety of discount but make sure you check beforehand

I saved almost £10 when eating out at Carluccios with my girlfriend yesterday... this app gives good discounts to a variety of restaurants(and came free with my go compare car insurance!) but always ensure you ring beforehand just in case some establishment don’t honour their dine discounts like some of the other comments here have suggested
