Still useless

I have tried following the advice of deleting and reloading, but the app still does not work for me at all. I just get to splash screens. I can’t zoom out or in as suggested. It just does not work. This is the second time I’ve been to an electric charging point and been unable to make it work. It would be so much easier if you just tapped a debit or credit card on the machine and it started to work. This is one of the worst electric car charging apps I have, and I have nearly all of them. You simply cannot rely on it to charge your car so it is making the whole system effectively useless

@Traveller12 Thank you for contacting EB Charging. We are sorry to hear that you are only seeing a welcome screen. Please ensure you are not too far zoomed into the phone/app, as this will restrict you from full view of the screen. You can change zoom settings on your phone or you may sometimes need to download a separate app for this, depending on your own phone. Further to this, please remember to always update your EB Go! App regularly and download the latest version of the app 1.1.10. If you are still having any difficulties then please uninstall the EB Go! App and then reinstall again. This should solve any issues you are having. Thx Support Team

Stuck on the info screens .

Got to Brighton found a charge point then had this rubbish app to contend with . No joy and a non charging car . Come on developers download your own app on an i phone and see the problem for yourselves . I’ve tried downloading it again and I’m not zoomed in whatever that means , no other app on my phone has a problem. I though Brighton had a Green agenda but it’s not making it easy for users of electric cars .

I’ve only used one point, but I left it charging fine and after 4 minutes it seems like it disconnected itself ( but didn’t notify me in the app!). So, oblivious, I returned 2 hours later to a whole 4% charge! Useless! You also can’t set it to a particular %, or choose an amount to pay. Took ages to set it up too and the OTP did t work. Very unimpressed and def won’t be using this point again! Don’t bother!!

Good afternoon, Thank you for taking the time contacting EB Charging today. I am very sorry to hear of your experience and that on your return you noticed it had stopped charging and only at 4%. Also, that the OTP code would not work as well. We can certainly appreciate your frustration in this matter and do apologise. We would advise you use the EB Go! App as a guest user for now and on this occasion. This will allow you to start using our charging units right away. Also, I have now flagged this with our Developers who will look into this further. You can then try register again in a few days times and it should work for you. Further to this, the EB Go! app does allow you to select the max charge or you can choose how long you wish to charge it for and the costs. Finally, if you ever experience any difficulties using the App, then please uninstall the app and then reinstall, this will resolve any issues you are having.
