Farmscapes 4+

However, I now seem to be stuck in the tournament of champions game and any game I win is not giving me a point so I cannot progress any further. Please do an update so that I can get out of this endless Groundhog Day situation.

I have contacted support and also been directly to the developer website and complained about the issues. It appears that this issue has been ignored for months by the developer. I cannot understood why Apple has allowed them to continue using the app facility as they are not interested in sorting out any issues with this game.

It is such a shame, but I would certainly point out to anyone actively interested in downloading this to go elsewhere.

Great game - cons I’ll list later, the pros will be here.

Pros
I love the system where you get horseshoes, which you can use to get multiple different story progressions, which is a classic for Scapes games. The art style i very much like, especially that I can mess around with the multiple choices of story progression (let’s say, modern, geeky or rustic furniture. Exploring all the designs is great!).

Cons
Mainly the other part of the game - levels. Oh dear, later levels.
The first, 30 ish are great. Easy progression, a nice start. But when hard & very hard levels get introduced. I especially had problems with the levels after them - sometimes, it takes me days worth of lives to beat a level, but just 3 levels before I beat it without losing once. (Luck, maybe?) Please clarify on extra details - seeing optimum boosters spent (like, 1 of each for this level, maybe just the rocket thingy for this etc) so I don’t waste my boosters. I think it’s a great addition, I’d be very happy if it was put into the game.

It’s a great game, but for quick progression you gotta pay, especially because of increasing extra moves costs, and the expensive-from-the-start in level boosters. However, if you’re willing to spend days from time to time and are very determined, you can play slowly while still completing levels without paying.

Ok so first things first, this game is very much like the other “Scapes” games, in that the main way of getting stars and progressing is by doing puzzles with certain boosters and obstacles. However, I am currently on level 80, and after downloading and deleting this game multiple times out of frustration, I’m going to just never touch it again. The reason for this is because, even with 3 hours worth of all the boosters, and unlimited hearts, I can’t get anywhere near completing the levels the game wants me to do, due to the sheer difficulty of them. Don’t get me wrong, the graphics, style and overall feel of the game is very nice and polished, but the puzzles are so insanely difficult, it’s just not worth the time or effort put into the game. “Farmscapes” seems very much like a cash grab, pay to win type of game, then “Homescapes” or “Gardenscapes”.

Just not worth time or effort.
Devs, at least try to make an enjoyable game.
