Works when it wants to

The app hasn’t been updated in 2 years! Which is ridiculous!

The English on it isn’t the best and it will often tell you the A/C is “off” when it’s clearly on, so you’re unable to use the controls, but if you press the power button on the app, it turns the A/C off.

It also decides it has an error and then turns the A/C off.

It also often decides that it’s just simply not going to work.

This really needs sorting out, it’s ridiculous!

Old wifi module and unreliable app

If you are “lucky” enough to be able to enable WPS on your router to get these connected to your Wi-Fi, as the manual method does not work. Then you can enjoy connectivity for around a day, after that it fails to connect to any of our mini splits.
Alarm bells began to ring as soon as the app mentioned WPS which should not be used for 10+years it is insecure. The manual method without this was not working on any of the 3 units with a phone or laptop.

As a 25 year IT veteran who has the house setup with homeassistant, who is actually certified to install AC, save your sanity and get Celio breeze universal remote units for each room, they are 100% stable and have reliable Wi-Fi connections.

Shame as the mini splits are actually very good but the cutdown intelisis Wi-Fi modules used are obviously very old models especially for a current model halcyon unit.

No longer functioning use Airstage

Spent 10 months trying to get my split ac to pair through this app, couldn’t get the app to recognise the ac was connected, after much research i found on a forum site that fglair has been replaced by Airstage. Downloaded airstage and the ac unit connected straight away. Very poor from Fujitsu, all documentation offline and online refers to fglair app still and i have to find out via an unofficial forum online. The ac unit is ace much better than daikin but this terrible oversight is really unprofessional!.
