Junk - not worth 1 star..

App crashes every time you try and capture a picture of the display within the circle as stipulated.
Therefore it’s utter JUNK..

Worst app I’ve ever seen

I tried the app on two iPhones and an iPad, it failed to work on any of them, producing an error message every time and on two of the devices the app crashed.

The reviews don’t appear to reveal a single user who has got it to work. The developers should be ashamed of themselves if this is the best they can do. The manufacturer would do everybody a favour if they simply stopped telling customers that there is an app.

Fortunately the alarm doesn’t need the app in order to work, otherwise I would have sent it back.

Useless

Fire brigade & gas safety board gave us 2 new FireHawk CO detectors after a carbon monoxide scare.
Was told we could use this app to check data on CO alarm but the app is absolutely pointless. Alarm is beeping but unable to scan the alarm to check what’s wrong as the app crashes every time. Don’t waste your time.

We're currently updating the app to better support the latest iPhone models. Could you let us know which iPhone model you're using? In some cases, iPhone 14, 15, and 16 models may work if you hold the Test button instead of pressing the Display button. We're also addressing this in the next update, which will be available soon.

Lastly, a beeping CO alarm is something to take seriously. If it's beeping intermittently rather than sounding a full alarm, it may be a pre-alarm warning indicating trace amounts of CO are present. Please contact FireHawk Support — their contact details can be found on the back of the product.
