Absolutely amazing but...

This game is great and always was great.
Only a few things: on the post game screen with the globe showing where all the explosions took place should be scrollable so that you can choose where you are looking at (very minor thing I know)
Also needs multiplayer. Would work with this game absolutely perfectly

absolutely amazing game

this game totally fits my niche of interest in nuclear war lol, i love the secret ending of the main game and i’ve had some really fun games online (i managed to get a full lobby to dismantle all their nukes one time!). i would love for this to keep being updated and so on and the ONLY thing i’d criticise it is maybe the superweapons, they seem a little too difficult to actually land compared to their payload effectiveness, and disguising them amongst a huge regular first strike is very difficult. additionally, there’s no way to scroll through the chat for some reason? so you only see the first few messages and then you just can’t see the rest but i’m sure it’s a relatively easy fix. or even a full text/voice chat would be awesome, because it means you can get full communication. i really liked the whole alliance system and i’d like to see it in the multiplayer again as well. otherwise, this game is perfect. i love it. please play it now.

Initially was fun and free, not so much anymore

I played this game a while ago, perhaps a year or more(?), and everything used to be available to earn by doing certain challenges (such as winning games with certain countries or using certain tactics), which was fun and encouraged players to continue with the game and work towards that one superpower or playable country they’d been wanting for a while

Now, however, it’s all just microtransactions, and unnecessary ones at that, as proven by the initial lack of paid content still managed to allow the game to grow in popularity for the right reasons, as the gameplay was fun and rewarding.

It’s sad to see that the game’s creators decided to capitalise upon their game’s decent success and introduce paywalls that kill the game’s enjoyment for casual players and puts people who won’t buy extra content at a disadvantage. On top of having advertisements, albeit less frequently than many other mobile games, which deserves to be acknowledged as something the developers did well, as we understand ads are sometimes a requirement for smaller developers to continue to work on their projects.

I would still recommend giving the game a try as the gameplay is fun, but it’s not as good as it used to be, and has much less replayability, more of a one and done type game as the gameplay is very repetitive without the old unlock system

TLDR: game used to be much more fun and rewarding to play, now riddled with microtransactions and heavy P2W
