Foot Locker 4+

Love footlocker, hate the app. Ok so as many have mentioned its basically just a browser page and its also a bit slower than Safari. Secondly sometimes you have to wait in a que to actually even access the app/browser which can take over half an hour and it doesnt tell you when its ready to let you in, why not just slow the speed for everybody but still allow access? Thirdly, this is the big one for me, i get access denied all the time but on Safari i dont (tried reinstalling app to no avail). And lastly you have to enter a category first before you can use the search function which seems a bit pointless if you already know what you are looking for. The sizing options are good though but may i suggest adding the size in centimetres as this is the only thing i go off (Japan sizes [mm]). I am a size UK 9 in Nike (28cm), UK 9.5 (28cm) in Adidas and Timberland but if i want to look at a new brand it takes a lot of research to find out which size i need. App definitely needs a MAJOR update to bring it even remotely close to competitors. As somebody mentioned if the app was brought into this century it would probably increase Footlockers sale conversion rate.

If you want something from footlocker, just go to the store. There was some Nike dunks coming out today at 8am, just 5 mins ago. I downloaded the app and was viewing them yesterday and the status of the shoes was “coming soon” so I got up before 8 and was ready to purchase them, but when I try to click on the shoes even to view them, it says unavailable (and this is before they were meant to drop) so instead I went on my laptop and went to the website, I could see the shoes on the page and as soon as it turned 8am I clicked on them hoping to buy them, but instead I got greeted with a message that said sold out. I don’t see how this is possible when it was literally as soon as it hit 8am. Then I came up with you have been placed in a queue for Austria but if you stay on the page for more than 2 mins it says “sorry this url has failed” I don’t see the point In the app or the website. Never buying anything from here again.

First of all I love footlocker and they have been the biggest competitor of JD for as long as I can remember but with the ease of buying online I feel footlocker has fallen behind badly. The app and the website are terrible, the filtering does not work on both for me and to me it seems they have given up for years. I hope the team at footlocker looks at these issues because in my opinion they are loosing a lot of sales. I can access the app and the website daily but cannot visit the store daily. With the app all I need to do is load it up, filter everything I am looking for and could take only 15 mins to check everything where as visiting the store will mean I need to allow my self at least 2 hours. I hope the developers look at these issues because at least for me I have not had a pleasant online search for years through the app or website and these things in 2022 should be a thing of the past.
