The Ford Money app makes managing your savings with us even easier and more straightforward
Ford Money
The Ford Money mobile app helps you manage your savings on the go and at your convenience.
You can access your accounts, view your balances and review your transactions quickly and securely. In addition, you can also make transfers and withdrawals from easy access products you hold with us. And all with the convenience of using fingerprint or facial recognition to authenticate yourself and your transactions. No more trying to remember your password each time.
What you can do on our app:
- Set up biometrics i.e. fingerprint or facial recognition
- Check your account balances
- See your recent transactions
- View your account details, including interest frequency and account destination
- Withdraw funds from your Ford Money easy access accounts to your Nominated Account.
- Make internal transfers from Ford Money easy access accounts to other Ford Money savings
accounts you hold with us (subject to the terms of that product).
- Set up future dated transactions on your Ford Money easy access accounts.
- View future dated transactions you've already set up.
- Delete unprocessed pending future transactions.
- View personal details including name, address and contact details
- Change telephone and email contact details (two-factor verifications required)
- Change marketing preferences
- Reset your password during initial app registration
- Request a reminder of your Customer ID during initial app registration
- Receive in-app notifications
We’ll continue to roll out additional features over the months so that eventually you'll be able to do everything using our app that you can currently do on our website!
How to get started:
1) Download and install the app on your phone.
2) Register for the app using the same credentials as your Ford Money online account.
You will need:
1) An online savings account with Ford Money
2) A compatible iPhone or iPad (iOS 11 and above)
Important information:
- You will need to be an existing Ford Money customer
- You must be aged 16 or over to use the app
Although the app is free to download, your standard data charges will apply if using a mobile network. If you’re having problems downloading the app please email help@fordmoney.co.uk or call us on 0345 266 1231 during office hours.

Very basic but getting there
Ford money has really decent interest savings compared to the major banks and would recommend. While I do appreciate the app it does need a lot more features like seeing in depth interest reports and statements, this also can’t handle transactions yet. So when these features come I think it would be a great app. For now it’s only good at checking your balance.
Would NOT use EVER again!
Only gets 1 star as I can’t give a Zero rating!!
Had nothing but problems from making first deposit, their computer says my linked account is not a uk bank account which it is! It decided this after allowing me to transfer £100s into my Ford money flexible savings account!
Phoned customer services who told me to send in screenshots as prove which I did! To an email address, on their contact us page which tells you NOT to send any queries about linked accounts via that email address! But CSR said it’s ok?
After 4 more phone calls, each time being told the CSR couldn’t deal with issue so would pass it up to managers or compliance dept? I now have £100s in an account which I can’t do anything with even asking customer service to close account!
So if you want to sit and look at the balance in your Ford Money account, but wish to be able to do nothing with it but look at it! And you want a customer service department who wish they could help you but can’t! Ford money is for you!
If you want the normal saving account where you can pay money in or withdraw it, I would strongly recommend NOT using Ford Money!!
At the point of writing this review, I have still not heard from customer services, mangers or compliance department, and still have NOT been able to access the savings in my Ford money account?
Does the job!
I don't expect much for a savings app as it doesn't need to be anything complex or fancy. Just need to be able to view my balance, transfer and withdraw money and know that everything is secure.
This app does that fine and I've never experienced any major issues since I installed it. There were a few bugs initially but Ford Money update it regularly and seem to fix stuff pretty quickly. It would be nice if it did everything I can currently do on the website but for all the core stuff it does the job!
