Ratings and Reviews
Rubbish don’t waste your money.
They need to sort out the connection issues. Takes quite a while to get it to connect to the bike then if you stop and turn the bike off you have to go through it all again. If it connected easily this would be a great app.
Garmin wants to believe everyone stupid
Expensive subscription, unreliable connection, slow and difficult navigation. Reading Garmin’s answers they believe that everything is user error or usb cable issue. One day it works okay, next day it won’t connect at all via wifi. Pointless to pay for it when google maps and apple maps are free and reliable. Garmin was great ones but it is the last on the list now. Wouldn’t use it even for free anymore. Carplay would make more sense on an expensive motorbike
Developer Response ,
Thank you for contacting us, and sorry for the inconvience caused.
About the WiFi connection, first please make sure your MyRide-Link APP is on and connected to the motorcycle.
Also recently we found that in iOS17 and some iOS16, the motorcycle will show that Wifi is connected, but the phone will show that it is not connected. This is a compatibility issue with iOS. You can still use Wifi for mirroring
If you have any other problem, please provide us details through the email (aoem.service@garmin.com), so that we can provide you with the best solution, thank you!
Very poor app
Connection is absolutely terrible, difficult to set a route, don’t know if I am using it incorrect but to me a complete and utter waste of money. Sort this very poor app out. Back to the bar mounter TomTom rider 550 for me.
Developer Response ,
Dear customer, thank you for contacting us,
If you are using an iPhone 12 or later iPhone to mirror, Due to the design of the iPhone, we recommend using a USB hub between the vehicle and the USB cable, which can make connection more stable.
If you have any other problems please contact us through the email address (aoem.service@garmin.com), so that we can provide you with the best solution, thank you!
