HATSUNE MIKU: COLORFUL STAGE‪!‬ 9+

This game is absolutely amazing and really fun. The songs are all super enjoyable, too (which is one of its main draws for to it being a rhythm game), but are a few small issues. First of all, the game sometimes freezes. This isn’t anything major, but if you’re close to dying, it really isn’t ideal - it usually does only freeze for a few seconds (if that). These next two are about the co-op shows, if someone loses connection before the song starts nobody can play the game, it’s as simple as that. Secondly, if you’re in the middle of a co-op show and your phone needs to warn you you’re on low power, you disconnect. Usually it would just pause the song (which can be annoying if you’re on a hold note, but nothing more) but since you cannot pause songs whilst playing online for obvious reasons, so I’d recommend playing online with a high % or just have it plugged in! I love this game overall, though and it has actually improved my sense of rhythm. These minor setbacks shouldn’t stop you from enjoying it.

as someone who only enjoys this game for the rhythm gaming and vocaloid, it is incredibly annoying to play sometimes due to poor design, constant updates I’m forced to wait in a loading screen for, and bugs that sometimes make the game unplayable. for example, currently I can’t play it at all because the main “solo show” song menu is broken and won’t show the songs I own and want to play.

the gacha and story features feel forced onto the player, like you can’t entirely avoid them even if you’d rather just stick to the gameplay. in order to purchase new songs from the in-game shop, the currency required has to be acquired via watching story episodes. you can skip them, but it’s still tedious, and you have to download the episodes first!

I love the actual gameplay, it’s fun, fast-paced, and fits the music. this game has a lot of vocaloid songs I have nostalgia for, like kokoro, rolling girl, and servant of evil. it’s just annoying to get around everything else about this game in order to play. I understand a lot of players like the story and gacha aspects, but I wish they designed it with the intention of allowing players to focus solely on the gameplay if wanted, too.

Hey! I just want to start off by saying that this is an amazing game, but I won’t beat around the bush. I used to play the game on a different device, (Samsung 2019 to be exact) but I had to get I different phone. I’m now attempting to play on this phone (iPhone 6) and the game displays as compatible with this device. It requires an iOS 11 and onwards, and this phone is on iOS 12.5. I’ve tried installing the game, but every time I manage to get to the download section, the entire game shuts down and I have to start over. I’ve cleared more than enough space on my device so that the game should be able to download, but it always does the same thing every time. If the game is not compatible with this iOS, please state so instead of saying it’s compatible because it clearly isn’t. This is a relatively well kept phone, it’s in good condition and I see no issues regarding my actual device, so I think it’s an issue with the game. I really loved the game so I’m disappointed I can’t play!!
